Field Notes from the Womack Campaign - Feb. 19
It was a great week on the road visiting with the people of the Third Congressional District.
I started the week in Harrison, meeting with local residents at the Durand Center. Despite the challenges our country faces, it was encouraging to hear the optimism and confidence people have in our nation. I was especially honored to have former Congressman John Paul Hammerschmidt at our reception.
By midweek, we joined GOP leaders and thousands of conservative Arkansans in Little Rock for the state party fundraiser featuring Sarah Palin.
I ended the week with an entire days worth of meetings with business and community leaders in Ft. Smith. I was impressed by their vision for the Ft. Smith area. I shared that, as their Congressman, they will have no harder working partner to help them achieve their ambitious goals than me.
I am looking forward to the grand opening of our campaign headquarters on Saturday, the Sebastian County GOP Lincoln Day Dinner later that night and taking our message directly to the people of the Third District next week.
