Mayor Steve Womack Reaches Fundraising Milestone Contact Mayor Steve Womack (479-936-0234) Over $100,000 Raised in Just Over a Month Signals Strong Support Rogers Mayor and Republican Congressional Candidate Steve Womack announced today that his campaign has surpassed the $100,000 mark in contributions for the 3rd Congressional District race. “I am humbled by the support we have received from so many folks,” Womack said. “Our message for strong conservative leadership and reform in Washington is resonating across the 3rd District. We are building a strong campaign. Our continued success in the fundraising arena will allow us to get our message out to voters and help ensure victory.” Womack campaign Chair Susan Barrett noted that over half of all donations received by the campaign are $200 or less. "Mayor Womack has raised this first $100,000 in just over a month,” Barrett said. “The speed with which this was done shows the immediate, passionate support his candidacy has generated.” Campaign Treasurer Ed Fryar noted that the campaign has had only one formal fundraising event thus far, making the fundraising total even more impressive. He said: "I am confident that with our continued efforts, we will build the campaign needed to propel Mayor Womack to victory.”



Congressman Steve Womack was elected to represent Arkansas’s Third Congressional District in 2010 and sits on the House Appropriations Committee and the House Budget Committee.

Prior to his election to Congress, Congressman Womack served as the Mayor of Rogers, Arkansas, for twelve years and in the Arkansas Army National Guard for over thirty years, retiring at the rank of Colonel.
