ROGERS – Republican Steve Womack, candidate for Arkansas’ 3rd Congressional District, announced the initial members of his 2010 Congressional Campaign Finance Committee; subsequent additions will be made as appropriate. Including some of the area’s most respected innovators, job creators, civic and community leaders, the team combines longtime and newly emerging political leaders who will help deliver the resources to take Mayor Womack’s message of job creation and fiscal responsibility directly to voters.

“I am honored to have the support of this team of dynamic leaders willing to invest their time and resources in our campaign,” Womack said. “Their confidence in me is inspiring and vital to building a campaign that is aggressive, optimistic and victorious. Working together, we will deliver the conservative leadership in Washington that the people of the 3rd District deserve.”

“A diverse and prominent Finance Committee signals that a candidate is creating enthusiasm and generating momentum,” Womack Campaign Chairman Susan Barrett said. “This is the best team I’ve seen, and they’re not simply contributors. Steve’s Finance Committee will be actively working to raise the capital we need to win the Primary and General Election campaigns. We’re confident that this team, including those announced today and those announced in the future, will be remembered as the foundation of a great campaign that helps restore the values that Steve stands for – things like duty, courage, honor and service.”
