Womack Wins Republican Primary

ROGERS, Ark. - Representative Steve Womack (AR-3) today released the following statement after winning the Republican nomination for the Third Congressional District of Arkansas in the primary election: 



“I am honored to be chosen as your Republican candidate for Arkansas’s Third Congressional District. The entrepreneurial spirit and selfless character of Third District Arkansans continue to be a model for America, and I remain committed to fighting for these ideals and protecting the principles that make our nation strong and enduring.  As your Congressman, I will continue to support safeguarding taxpayer dollars, protecting individual freedoms, strengthening national defense, and rolling back burdensome regulations. I am grateful for your support and hope to continue serving you in the U.S. House of Representatives in the 116th Congress.”



Congressman Steve Womack was elected to represent Arkansas’s Third Congressional District in 2010 and sits on the House Appropriations Committee and the House Budget Committee.

Prior to his election to Congress, Congressman Womack served as the Mayor of Rogers, Arkansas, for twelve years and in the Arkansas Army National Guard for over thirty years, retiring at the rank of Colonel.

Steve has been married to his wife, Terri, for over 31 years, and they have three sons, two grandsons, and a dog named Cooper. - Read More
