Congressman Womack Files for Re-Election

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - U.S. Representative Steve Womack (R) today released the below statement after filing to run for re-election in the Third Congressional District of Arkansas at the State Capitol in Little Rock:
“Today, I officially filed for re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives. It’s an honor of a lifetime to have had the continued trust of our community to effectively represent the Third District in Congress. I remain steadfast in my love and dedication to the Natural State and my country, by advancing our shared conservative values, supporting our nation’s military, and answering to the needs of my constituents. I understand the context of where we are domestically and globally in order to make a true difference in Washington. I believe I have the skills and experience to continue to deliver for the Third District of Arkansas.”
Congressman Steve Womack is the Chairman of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Financial Services and General Government. He formerly served as Chairman of the House Budget Committee. He is seeking his eighth term. Womack is also the Chairman of the Board of Visitors of the United States Military Academy at West Point. Before Congress, Womack served as mayor of Rogers for 12 years. He's a retired Colonel in the Arkansas Army National Guard with 30 years of service in uniform.
